Tanning beds

Are they safe? i heard they cause cancer , is there anythign you can do to make it safer?

Why would you spend so much money on tanning salons/beds when all you need to do is by a uv lightbulb put it in any lamp socket and presto you got a tanning lamp.

Man, everything under the sun causes cancer...go for it balls to the walls!! Just don't lay too long your first few times, be moderate. There may be some gimmick lotions and stuff that you can buy to make the rays a little less harsh...but do it man....specially' if your like me and pale as a damn corpse!!!!
