T4 Vs. T3

T3 has more kick, how much I don’t know, I have used one of the two with clen, I still think all of this cutting stuff is psychological and it simply boils down to diet and cardio,

Although I am a believer in a low level of gear while dieting to maintain muscle, maybe that is the only reason for primo.
 
they're pretty different

T4 has an extremely long half-life (2 weeks?) and is very weak on it's own and has no real effect except for what gets converted to T3 by the body

T3 is much much more powerful and has a shorter half-life (3 days I believe).
 
joey10j, do a search on T3 or cytomel. There's some really good info here, I believe. My 'opinioned' take on it is that T4 is worthless. It just isn't close enough to the real thing, and enough of it doesn't get converted for the purpose of what you're trying to accomplish, fat loss. If you're going to use something, stick with T3, that DEFINITELY works. Also, there're a lot of posts that sound pretty scary about using T3, I would say from lots of personal experience, don't worry, just make sure you graduate up (increase dosage daily) and graduate down (decreasing slowly coming off) and you'll be fine. Both are equally effective for raising metabolic rate. Cytomel works faster, has a shorter lifetime, and when purchased with a prescription is more expensive than Synthroid. For short term use cytomel would be a better option. For long term replacement Synthroid would be better.

The maximal metabolic response to a single dose of Cytomel occurs in 2 days or less and has a half-life of 8 days; with Synthroid the peak effect of a single dose is evident in 9 days with a decline to half the maximum in 15 days. Note these are not the drug half lives which are 2 days for Cytomel and 6 days for Synthroid.

25 micrograms of synthroid is considered equivalent to 100 micrograms of Synthroid
