T3 Suppression and Supplementation Question

How much T3 can you supplement without suppressing your own natural T3 production? Also, how long can you continue that supplementation safely without damaging your thyroid?

Any insight anyone can give me toward these two questions would be helpful.

Unfortunately there's no definitive answer to that. It depends on the person. The thyroid gland is a very resilient gland. I've had clients run high doses for months and come off without any problems. It's all in the taper.
 
Would it be fairly safe to say you could run 15mcg of T3 for 6 months straight and it would do nothing but add to your current levels of T3 and not affect your thyroid?

You could probably run 25 mcgs/day for 6 months and it not affect your thyroid. Again it's individual though.

For me, T3 works best when done in short burst type cycles.... Kinda like you would cycle Clen..... 4 weeks on T3, 4weeks off, repeat a few times as needed..... Like Mak said, slowly tapering off is the Key to avoiding a crash on T3..... Dosages? I usually start at 50mcg per day, go as high as 100mcg per day, last week is all Tapering off, or you can do 2 weeks of tapering off..... 2nd to last week 25mcg per day... Last week, 25mcg EOD..... That's just an example, and I hope it helps....

Few facts..... T3 seems to work best when you are ALREADY pretty damn lean.... T3 will take you over the edge so to speak..... T3 also seems to work better when stacked with some type of fat burner: Clen, ECA, Trex..... Using T3 for 6 months just doesn't sit well with me..... I know guys do it with no problem, but if you have a slow metabolism as it is, you might not wanna mess with your thyroid that way..... Could affect your metabolism on future diets if you do something wrong......

In my extensive experience with T3, there's no way to avoid some form of "crash"

I guess I'm just very sensitive, but I experienced a small rebound effect after 7 weeks at 12.5mcg and 1 week at 6.25mcg. The crash did not last that long, about a week I would say (some fat gain, sluggish..etc)

That surprises me. 12.5 mcgs/day is very small. I haven't had anyone crash from that amount. Is your thyroid naturally low?
 
I was taking 12.5 mcg/day when I had my annual physical. My TSH was a little low but still well within the normal range. YMMV

It surprised me as well. I beleive my thyroid is naturallty low, always been an exstreme endo but I gain muscle very easily.
 
Some vets suggest 25mcg ED for 6 weeks during a bulker to increase metabolism and enhance gains. Do you think this is safe and effective?

T3 wont enhance gains, in fact the opposite is true, youll lose some muscle.
Now i rarely use t3, as it burns off muscle too.
Prefer shorter cycles 2 weeks on 2 off.

^^... you gotta be careful when running T3 becasue it will burn muscle fast. I would only use it when absolutely necessary (ex. before a show). If not, stick with clen, ecy stack, and a good diet with cardio.
