T3 - do the risks outweigh the benefits?

I'm currently considering using T3 at the end of my next cycle. I've heard a few horror stories pertaining to permanently reduced output from individual's thyroid glands following use (I know some of the people I've spoken to stay on far too long and don't taper with T3 so may have caused their own problems).

Can those who have used sensibly please advise as to the real risks and state their opinion(s) with regards to results, ie. Was it worth it?

Also has anyone utilised gugglesterones and other thyroid supplements following T3 use - as PCT for the thyroid?

As always appreciate your opinions and suggestions! :)

Cheers,

Sig

i think the 'horror' stories you hear about t3 are way overexaggerated.
i ran 50mcg t3 runs for up to 6 weeks in a row and my thyroid always recovered just fine. most will attest the same.

there are, however, users who abused t3 and never recovered.
in the worse case scenario, you go on t3 medication for life which really isnt a big deal.

risk vs. reward.. i guess thats the name of the game.

I agree.

first off I'd take it with your cycle not after, T3 can be very catabolic. Second it cycled properly you'll be fine but do lots of research (taper up and taper down even slower). I've used it for 6 week cycles (the max length you'll ever want to run) and had thyroid test 3 weeks after finishing & all was good. Keep in mind though, its no magic pill. You still need cardio & a clean diet for good results.
