T-minus 5 days

Well it is five days until my first strongman comp. I have done as much to prepare as I could with the resources I had available. Now it is down to just doing it.

On a side note, I was talking to the people at my tattoo shop and told them that I was going to compete. Without hesitation they asked if I needed sponsors. I was a little taken aback by this as I haven't competed yet, but the offer is pretty cool. I told them I would let them know after this comp for sure. Also there is going to be a fairly large group(10-15ppl) there to support me. Now I just need to not suck.

Just got off tour tonight but working on some overtime hopefully. Tearing shit up on the brake already, pulled into a "tight" spot before td @230k derrick is rated to 315k. Maybe if I pull this one in they will buy me a new one lol. Anyway good luck at the comp.

Thanks man. The highland games are in september the 8th through the 12th I believe. It is always the second weekend in September.

Nicely done on the brakes, tight spots suck. Last november we had to leave a core barrel assembly downhole from it getting wedged. Broke the pulling hub twice on one rig then they brought in a bigger one and broke the hub there too before they released us. Kind of fun watching them jar on it. But that's what you get in wyoming with those little core rigs.
