T-3??? when not using AAS

fireman664

New member
I am not on AAS currently. I am looking to run T-3 for lets say 2 weeks at just 25mcg. I know most say to only touch this while on AAS to avoid muscle loss....but I have read some other ways of using it in low doses while not on to help with the cutting, and still avoid muscle loss. I plan on using it with clen (anti catibolic), any one have any experience with it in low doses/short cycles while not on?

Thanks

I use 12.5 ED while on HGHG I think you will be alrigt on the muscle loss, however I really dont think it will be that beneficial, I say stick withthe clen

Im assuming you dont have much to loose as your only wanting to do it for only 2 weeks? I've run t3/clen without gear a few times, the trick is to keep your protien intake high...it can be catabolic but only if your in a seriouse cal deficit. Oh and the times that i have used it without gear i have done it in low doses 25mcgs for 6-8 weeks

I see....I was worried that going longer than 2 weeks might be more catabolic. I think I will try it for 6 weeks, but closely monitoring my bodyweight and bf% (IN the mirror). We will see how it goes. Do you guys think I should worry about the tapper on such a low dose (maybe tapper down off of it?)?

Thanks

It depends on the person. If you naturally have a high metabolism and have problems putting on mass I would stay away from it without AAS. If on the other hand you have a slower metabolism it will help you. It all depends on how high your thyroid is naturally.

I actually gain mass real easy (along with fat), but struggle to lean out. I got down to 8-9%bf while on AAS, but now, about 3 months post cycle I am about 10-11%bf, on about a 1800-2200 cal a day diet (the diet part I have been tweaking for about 8 months now....I am 5'6" 170#'s). I need to add some more cardio, but was looking to see what the low dose t-3 would do for me.

Thanks

No I wouldnt worry about the taper...you should if you plan on going higher then 25mcgs but if your not then no..i didnt taper each time i did it at that dose and was fine.

I would have your thyroid tested to see where your levels are first. You may actually need synthroid or cytomel.

There is a simple way to test for muscle loss that everyone is forgetting!

You need to check your BBT (Basal Body Temperature). Start 2 weeks before you will use T3 without gear. First thing every morning pop the thermometer in your mouth and take your temp, do not move anything but your arm! Dont sit up, dont move your head, just pick up the thermometer and pop it in. Then once you use the T3 take your temp every morning to make sure you are fine. if the temp is around the same temp then you will be ok. if its higher that means you are burning muscle up

Clean up your diet...most guys moaning about drugs just need some diet and cardio.

im still trying to find out how Clen is Anti-catabolic if it stimulates the release of catabolic hormones

Clen actually works by directly stimulating the beta 2's. It doesn't rely on norephinephrine to do it's job like caffeine and ephedrine do.

You are currently at 10-11% bf? I think that is pretty damned good myself unless you are trying for a competition why are you so worried about 1-2%? I think at that bf you would look pretty damned cut!

You have a point.....but I am fighting the "I looked pretty damn good 2 months ago syndrom" right now, and I want to go AAS clean for a stretch (I have the size/strength I wanted, in fact I have continued to gain post cycle, now I want the freaky leanness) The diet thing is pretty down pat (mostly thanks to this board...diet forum, and people like bunny, ghede ect..)....The cardio could be kicked up a notch though. Its just so hard for me to lean out, and a little boost would be nice. once summer is over I plan on staying at my caloric intake during the day, doing about the same amount of cardio, but adding a PM muscle milk shake and trying to gain a little but keep the fat in check, so I want to be pretty lean at my starting point.

Thanks everyone....and I'll keep everyone posted on the results of my AAS free T-3 experience.
