Unless you have a garden hose instead of a pin on the end you should not lose 2ml in the filter. I am assuming you're using a 25mm filter. There simply isn't enough room in the filter to take in 2ml of oil into it.

Nah, .2 is about right from my experiences. Just use a couple of cc of sterile oil to flush out the filter. So make your experiment to 77 or 78 ml, and flush with the other 2 or 3 cc's.
