You're to young to be confused

take what you want and go forward.. be stern and straight forward...

I have a job i wasn't even trying to get but of course :qt: I impressed my boss... tee hee..

I've learned all of this oil field crap on the job, fiddled with it in the past but that was not what i went to school for. Had to do alot of on the job training. Thank Gawd i'm a quick learner.

but of course i figured the whole white Knuckle meant something naughty :verygood: my mind is in the gutter ;)

I'm a few years your senior, 28, and I can relate to the anxiety that comes with finishing college and needing to make a living.

My advice is to find something that will give you an ok income, and even if it isn't your ultimate dream job, work at it and use it as a working experience. You can still seek out other options but having something to provide a steady income makes this process much less nerve wracking. Don't expect much upfront, new grads are like slave labor.. easily exploited. You'll find yourself doing the same work as co workers that get paid twice as much.. and they'll say its because of your lack of experience.. get started on getting that experience right off the bad and you'll set yourself up for a bright future.

I started working in 1998 for 8.50 an hour.. within 2 months I was up to 12.00 an hour which was libable... now, 7 years later, I make 4 times what I started out making and there is still plenty of room for growth.

Show up on time or early.. leave late.. and give it your 100% and you'll be a success at whatever you try.

lol.. if you don't get it.. you're not supposed to get it.. move on

Lestat, I hear what you're saying bro. I know how that goes, and that's how I expect it to be.

I plan to get that 9-5 and save for something to start on the side. I have so many ideas but just need the funds to start...and I refuse to find a business partner to back me up financially...I don't want their hand in my pocket (although bran and sawastea would like that).

Where I get that 9-5 is the question. Do I want to move into NYC? Do I want to move south? I do like CT though.

KB, I've been asked to push the rock many times to the Uconn crowd. I know the cash would flow like bitches on the rag. That's something I need to consider. There's nothing better than students in the middle of oshkosh spending their parent's money on some fundip.

Don't mind me. I can make decisions, I just need to sort out a few things first.

you'll find your way bro.

Stay away from illicit activities though, that's serious advice.. You're an adult, some shit you do now can stay with you forever. Remember that.

Swole,
Absolutely do not "push the rock", you went to college - don't risk prison bro, because it real and you wouldn't like it there one bit trust me.

Take a year or two off, have some fun, make enough to live near the beach (I went to San Diego after graduating) get laid, surf...while doing that apply to Grad Schools until you get in the one you want.

You won't regret it.
