I live in the midwest...![]()
Nordstroms ususally has the super trendy shit I want... it's not cheap though...
I also go to a few clicky places in a trendy area around here to pick up fashion garbs, but that shit is so uber fashion it's not really appropriate for anything but clubs, and it doesn't last very long...
I've seen a few of these fools dress... I got it all over them... but I am not so sure you'd really like my style...
Here's what I would do if I were who I think you are:
Go to Men's Express... get 3 pairs of strech wool low ride dress pants, no pleats doood, no pleats... black w/ pin stripe, black, grey, maybe tan... get a new belt... get at least 5 different color'd stretch button up's... perfect for work and bars... get colors you like... Get 2 nice pairs of kicks from Aldo or whereever just make sure they are trendy...
Express will prolly have a bunch of nice polo style shirts you'll like and even some cool trendy printed T's that you can wear with a blazer to nice bars and such...
Go to a Nordstroms type place... not dillards or any shit department stores... go to a Nordstroms at the minimum... go to the trendy area for men, it's a mix of brands... pick out what you want that you didn't buy at the other places...
Most important thing: MAKE SURE THE CLOTHES FIT RIGHT...
Seriously... don't buy shirts that are too big for your build, you want them to fit your build... Ralph Lauren doesn't make any such shirt, you have to get that type of crap fitted to make it look right.
jnevin said:Aldo? Are you fucking drunk? Nordstrom for shoes. Also, the Nordstrom brand shirts are usually fitted. I like them for work shirts. Bannana Republic is pretty good for sweaters and dress slacks, not too expensive and will fit your legs. I'm thinking work clothes here, BTW. Jeans and t-shirts I usually go to Nordstrom or Lucky. There are a couple of other places here that have stuff Nordstrom and other places don't, so I hit them up from time to time.

I buy suit / dress shoes at Nord's, but I buy daily kicks at Aldo...

they have plenty of nice jeans
i like designer thermal-like tight shirts, long sleeve polos, and thin sweaters for winter to show off my lestat-like upper body

i also love abercrombie clothes, despite their models being 95lb noodle arms their muscle cut shirts compliment my body well
AF Shirt
AF longsleeve
this is mostly my style, i don't really venture into dkny, ck or diesel too much anymore
i'll let kb talk shoes
but i usually wear tims in winter/fal with white kicks in spring/summer
