Help me help my chest!
Chest growth has always been tough for me. I have a narrow breasplate, long arms, and broad shoulders -- not like those barrel chested guys who are more anatomically built for benching.
When I bench, I try to arch a little and really open my ribcage up, pulling my shoulder blades together and my elbows back. I've never gotten over 275 for 5-6 reps (w/o AAS). I almost always use good form and get a good stretch, but I know that my all time heaviest is not really much weight.
When I compare that to my thigh development capabilities, I can see that I have a weak body part.
Cables, flys, dumbells and pullovers have all worked, but I just can't get a nice big chest like I want.
I have big legs without training them. I used to go very heavy with high reps for squats and leg presses, but they got too big and heavy and I was off-balance, so I cut that out and did yoga and running instead.
My bis and tris grow well, too but I'd much rather have that muscle on my chest.
So that's why I asked about suspension. I'm sure I'm not the only guy who has a lagging body part. I wondered if it works for others, or maybe there's someone with scientific/pharmacological knowlegde to share.
Green karma for good reply.
