This is where I am really lacking. I work in the oil industry so I don't invest there - eggs all in one basket thing.

I don't seem to be getting much trickle down windfall and, where I live, prices are way up because labor is so short (2.4% unemployment in my home town).

I need a change in strategy.

My company got bought out about 6 months ago. In April I got backing from a Private Equity group for a start up company. We are in the bleeding money phase with no revenue.
