Aromasin is a type I AI (suicidal AI) - it binds aromatase irreversibly.
Arimidex and letrozole are class II AIs, which work by competitive inhibition of aromatase.
It doesn't kill estrogen forever. Estrogen levels will go back to normal after the product is discontinued. It's a fine choice as an anti-estrogen, but for most people arimidex will work well enough.

I want to effectively block the possibility of Gyno but do not want to wipe out all estrogen. My goals are also to stay within healthy limits.

Nov is much like clomid, it blocks the receptors so that not as much Estrogen can bind, creating a small store of estrogen for when you go off. That's why women who want to get pregnant use clomid, because it does cause a rebound.R1 Psycho said:
So what am I saying? First of all, you should use novladex for PTC or Armadex, because they actually interfere with each other. (Sorry for spelling) Armadex, however, stops the estrogen from even forming, therefore much less chance of a rebound, but it is extremely powerful, so it will reduce your estrogen count to zero in about three days if you dose 1mg per day.
So what has worked for me is to come off my cycle, then Nov 20 mg/d for 20 then one day off, 20 two days off, 20 three days off, until you get to 7. This may sound a bit odd, but it uses the drugs half-life to slowly taper you down. Or if you want, you can just take 20mg/day for 20 then switch to Armadex for five to ten days to make sure the rebound estrogen can't bind. It's worked for me, but don't take my word for it. Around here, there are too many pro's that probably have better ideas.

I have used arimidex for years, and I have not had a "rebound" on it. So that remains to be seen...I've worked with clients who used arimidex for 6 months straight, and stopped without a problem

when you're on steroids, you're going to have bad lipids either way, so that's going to be the last of your worries

AIFM has been "compared" to aromasin. If you want to use a suicidal ihibitor, go with pharm. grade aromasin, this way you know what you're getting is a good product

What I meant by that was how much % wise of estro are you killing/suppressing by taking 0.5mg's of adex per day...or 1 mg of adex per day respectively..and so on....
If adex will wipe out 96-97% of estrogen, then how much does Aromasin wipe out? I was under the impression that Aromasin is much stronger than adex.
