Suggestions for a party

Throwing a new years party.. what are some good things to do to keep it going strong? I know the one i threw last year was good but it dwindled down..... This year I've hired a DJ to keep some good tunes pumpin. Passed out flyers all over town. Got 3 party trays from hooters reserved (hot wings)........ what else do u guys recommend for a killer party? I'm getting 1 keg of budlight and 4 cases incase the keg runs out.... we're playing a mixture of techno/dance and rap.. gimme some opinions!
