True, The Jets have picked up the play and they are one of my favorites...

But I think that Green Bay was just not into the game ... even though winning it ment homefeild thoughout the playoffs... and the Jets were fighting to stay alive... big difference.

I think the Jets can do well in the playoffs... but I do'nt think they'll win...

I'm not sold that the Raiders will win. The AFC was either really weak or so exceptionally strong that they just beat up on each other the whole season. My guess it's somewhere in between. Still, 11-5 for home field advantage isn't a resounding confidence builder (including a thrashing by an underachieving Rams team). Corn's Jets theory isn't so far fetched, in mine eyes.

Still, I like Tennesee/Philly with Philly winning. I'm also intrigued by Indianapolis and Tampa ... a bit of irony, no?

But, then again, I look at the subject of this thread and it's asking for Suer Bowl predictions. None of these teams will make the Suer Bowl.

full circle time..

philly and oakland.. this time, it's completely opposite and i win back my dollar i lost as a 8 year old...

it was those playoffs that made me who i am today (eagle nut)...

eagles beat the boys to go to the superbowl.. my mom's fiance's kid from dallas cried.. he was older than me and bigger than me.. god it was glorious!!!!

then, i bet my mom's coworker a dollar on the superbowl.. i was an instant eagle fan upon seeing those tears.. so i thought, hell ya i'll bet and win a buck....

i lost... i cried.

first of many sad eagle moments.. but i've stayed as true as can be... my blood is greener than the city of philadelphia.. i have never cried for the heads of eagle players.. i sat through the doug pederson year... i watched bobby fucking hoying... and ty detmer.. rodney peete.... and randall before them... always sticking by my ganggreen... i've suffered all them losses to the cowboys in their superbowl runs.. i watched eric williams manhandle reggie white when reggie was a demi god.. i watched...

this year... it's time. i've had the pulse of this team pounding in my head for 3 seasons... i said it before they were even worthy of playoff contention.. in 3 years, they would be in the bowl and winning it... this is year 3...

its time.

These macthups can't happen. The divisional playoff round is re-seeded. If the Jets and Steelers both win, the Jets play the Raiders and the Steelers play the Titans. Which means that the Jets/Raiders conference title game can't happen.

The Pack did not have an off day againt the Jets. The packers had just as much to play for. A bye week and home field advantage is not alot to play for? The Packers choked plain and simple, team talent over the one man team...personally i think Favre stinks and should hang them up if he wins the SB or not....he might do alright this week but when he ends up going to TB he'll throw for 4+ picks guaranteed....as recent history has shown when the Packers are in a big game, Favre chokes best...

you are fucking crazy... the last big game they had was against st louis in the playoffs last year.. he was crispy sharp...




i agree, brett should go out either this season or next.. i think it depends on a superbowl run for him.. if they win this year (and they wont) he'll retire... he's hinted at it a few times.. hell, i thought he was done when his knee got jacked up... playing through all the pain over the years has hurt his team... if he stays in the league he needs to sit down when he cant go at a good rate.
