stuck on weight gain

Hi all, I posted this in another board, so for those of you who board surf, i apologize for the duplication...

I'm looking for some help on figuring out how to break thru a plateu i reached on my body weight. I'm currently on week 7 of test 500mg/deca 500 mg. I'm also taking 25 mg anavar ED and nolva 20 mg ED (nips itch a little and look puffy). I'm 5' 10" stuck @ 180 lbs. 9% BF. I started @ 170 lbs. I work out 4 days p/week and no cardio. My diet consists of ~ 180 - 225 gms protein and ~ 300 - 350 gms carbo, and whatever fat i get from the foods i eat. What am i doing wrong?? I do have 30 tabs of Anadrol 50 but not sure if i should take them this late in the game.

Dude you need to eat more, assuming your 350gm carbs and 225gm protein and 60gm fats per day you are only getting 2840 calories, I am an endo and 5'10 198 and 15% and gain fat all too easy and I eat that much for just maintenance, if you are a hard gainer/ecto body type, you need to bump your calories more, try to keep carbs 350 fats 70 or so and bump your proein to 300gm or better yet 380gm per day. Go to the diet board and check it out.AAS does not substitute for diet,training and rest.
 
Yeah boss...I'm an ectomorph at 5'9 170lbs 9%. Last year around this time I weighed in at 153lbs 7%. Right now my calorie intake is around 3400 that's 300g protein 350g carbs and 80g fat and I haven't moved up in weight in about a month. I just started my first cycle last Thursday in hopes of breaking through that barrier and plan on kicking up my calories to at least 4000 in about 1 week which is just enough time for the gear to start kicking in!

Damn, kick up your calories 500kcal/day until you start gaining weight, otherwise you're HUGELY wasting your time with that much gear.
 
I guess it's too late for the "you don't need steroids" speach since you're already 7 weeks in.
Rpol is right the problem is your diet. You need to bump you calories up to at least 4000 or higher depending on your metabolism. Try adding about 30% per week so that your body can get use to it.
You take take all the juice in the world, but aren't going to grow unless you eat and train right.

The other guys are right your not getting near enough cals. Since you have low bf hit the fast food guys for a while on top of what your eating. My personal favorite is ice cream for extra cals. Also when you up the cals make sure your upping your h2o intake.
 
my favorite power meal that I start around 1:00pm is 100 grams of pasta wait about 1.5 hours then eat 80g of rice mixed with 170g of lean ground beef (10% fat) and then hit the gym about 1.5 hours later! That will give you a big calorie dose without feeling bloated!

BRO YOU NEED TO EAT, I EAT THAT ON A DIET DAY/CYCLE...CARBS SHOULD BE 2-2.5G PER LB OF BODYWEIGHT. TRY THAT OUT. COUNT YOUR CALORIES IF YOU HAVE TO AS WELL. GAINING WEIGHT IS EASY, YOU'RE DOING THE FUN PART, IM DOING THE NOT FUN PART--DIETING....EAT UP CLEAN THOUGH

He don't really need 8000 cals unless he wants to blow out his intestines. Ectomorphs build slower then our counter parts regardless of diet. It's just a matter of increasing his calorie intake just enough and working out consistently with plenty of rest. The true ingredient is time. No matter how much he eats, it takes longer for an ectomorph to build solid muscle mass then the other two!

I started out at 128lbs at age 35 as much of a hardgainer as you could ever imagine. After reading Arnies book, I went on an 8000kcal/day diet and worked out 6 days a week. After a year I was 187lbs and around 10% body fat. Never touched a steroid until I was 46 and that was low dose test since my natural levels of test were at 124. My mother likely had more test in her system than I had. ;)

like you said 10% bodyfat....the guy is already 10% bodyfat I don't know about him but I would not want any more than that. To me a nice lean hard look is much better than a big bulky ass, but that's just me. 8,000 cals is not neccessary. I'm as much of a hard gainer as you and I packed on 20lbs of mass in about 5 months at 3400 cal without juice and my bodyfat % only increased by 1% and i was rotating 1 double whopper and 2 spicy chicken sandwiches a day with my other meals. Me...I like having a 6 pack not a pork belly!

I figured it might have to do with the diet, but it's so hard to eat all those calories to begin with! I'll try to add 500 cal per day and increase my protein intake. I'll let you all know how it turns out.
