Stretchmarks

Hi there!!

I'm a 29 yr old male and for the majority of my adult life have been obese.

In the last couple of months ,however, I decided to change my ways!!
As a result of my hard dieting efforts and working out I've lost about 20 pounds in the last 5 weeks!!.

I'm very pleased with the results I'm seeing. Especially in the waist line!! However, I do still have another 40 pounds to lose!! But with time I'm sure I'll do it.

The only thing that's rather discouraging are these terrible stretchmarks I have all over my abdomen and hips (or should I say "lovehandles") as well as around my chest/breast area.

Something tells me that even when I do lose all the weight and keep it off that these stretchmarks will remain!! They have been there now for at least 7 or 8 years!!

Any tips??

This is really embarassing since it's not a very common thing for men. I know women get them often but for a man (at least for me) it's really bothersome. I've heard that wonder creams and the like never really work (according to doctors).

Thanks,

Alex

man dont worry about it. every guy in the entire world has stretchmarks somewhere. even little skinny tall fuckers get em from growing so tall. the best way to make em less visible is loose that fat. and i also heard rubbing coconut oil on them daily can help make them less visible. ive had em since i was 11 and im only 17, they dont bug me at all. ive lost most of my fat recently but i still got em on my biceps from workin out so it looks good. :D

good luck man, and good work on droppin the weight, god speed.

Most stretchmarks are permanent. If they are old (white or silvery) then they will always be there. If you go tanning or use self-tanner they will not be as noticable.

New ones (they are red/pinkish) can be minimized with cocoa butter creme. Pregnant women use it to minimize stretchmarks on their bellies. Yo ucan buy real cocoa butter at most health food stores - don't buy regular lotion, buy the really thick creme.

Good luck, and congrats on the weight loss! :Pauly:
