Ok i was a very fit person five years ago, long story short in the last couple of years i let my self go a little bit (not much) and my belly grow more than what my body was use to. So i got stretch marks in my belly, my question is (since i started lifting) if i get fit again through weight lifting and lots of cardio, should i worry about loose sking hanging in my belly? what about the stretch marks?.

Help from the experienced will be apreciated.

Once you get stretch marks there is not much that can be done to get rid of them. I dont know, but maybe lazer therapy could help lessen the looks of them, but they are still going to be there.

I've had some of the same stretch marks for 22 years. I like mine though. To me, I use my stretch marks as a guage for growth, the longer and bigger the stretch marks are the bigger I'm getting.

got um too bro, there is really nothin u can do about them. someone mentioned lazer removal, this might be the only thing that could remove them. ive used the cream, tries uping my vitamin E intake to improve my skin but nothing really has worked. the cream seemes to make them less visible i think. by making them less red/purple and more like your normal skin tone. i have one for a while and it has seemed to fade and turn my normal skin color, so i guess it is a plus in a way, its just less noticable.

once you get stretch marks, then you've got stretch marks, period!! however after you've had them for a while they generally fade, especially when they aren't pulled as tight from losing a bit of mass... they will fade to a natural skin tone and look like a light scar. sorry that's probably not the answer you wanted to hear but it's not as bad after a while they can become very faint lines, but that depends on how bad they really were, I've got a buddy that got some on his sides from when he balloned up years agao and even though they are faded no they are still very noticeable thick lines!! he's asian and I don't know how much of it is just because of skin tone though, I'm fully white and mine have faded to barely noticeable. anyways you could look into the laser stuff scar reduction treatments... but even those aren't gonna give you magical results, but if they are REALLY bad it might help a bit!!

they are not a big deal but i was wonderin if there was something i could do, i was reading a study on the web and they said stretch marks disapear over time, drinking lots of water and excercise helps (according to the study).

im using a cream and those things do help, they were red and now they are fading into my color skin.

aint shit you can really do. unless you can afford some surgery. all you can really do is work on preventing future stretch marks

they fade with time, i got about 1/2'' added to my strentch marks from my previous cycle.. nice and RED AND FRESH, and a few new spots by my lats.. guess my back grew :D

sucks to be one of those without skin elasticity

I have stretch marks under the front of my arm from my pecs when I first started lifting. They have faded quite a bit though. Every body is different my friend.
