stretch mark experiences

I was wondering what peoples experiences with stretch marks were(how much they put on and how bad the stretch marks were, and what works and what doesn't thx in advance :).

I used to be 135 lbs at 6,2 with arms like pipe cleaners. After two years of serious eating and iron slinging im up to 200lbs with 17 inch arms. The result? Stretch marks all up my bicep, all down the back of my tricep running from under my arm-pit. The more i work out the lower down the marks are appearing, in a way, i dont mind them because they are a reminder of how far ive come. In another way, theyre annoying as hell because they look rough!

In short, i just go tanning which seems to cover them up a bit, or at least make them not as noticable.

Stretch marks can only be removed with cosmetic procedures like lasers and such. Any cream is just a bullshit cover up and improves the marks for a while but they come back soon afterwards. Just learn to live with them and get the cosmetic procedures done later on.

tthey don't go away, they will blend in better with you as they get older but they are there for good. You can get procedures to have them removed. I'd just suck it up unless they are really bothering you. I've had them since i was 17, i'm used to it by now

Same here, I've got a couple that I tried different creams on but they didn't work.
They keep getting darker and wider, which lets me know I'm getting bigger, but doesn't look so pretty.

I don't worry about my stretch marks - I'm actually quite proud of them:

I specialized on chest for 3 months and brought up the weak bodypart and knew that I'd really grown well because I got a little 2" rip in each armpit.

I think that white guys should be able to tan around them and whilst black guys can't do this, the mark probably aren't as noticeable. (right?)

ive been blessed havent got any. maybe im not growing

I have them all over. I have em small ones on the inside of my thighs, calves, and longer ones on my lats. The biggest or longest ones are on my chest and shoulders. I remember doing dumbell flies years ago when they were still comming in. I felt really tight and felt just a slight tug going down, and then heard something sound like a rip. For fear that I tore my pec or something,....I immediately dropped the dumbells and checked myself out. I was only doing 25's at the time, so I really did not know what happened.... Turned out I had the stretch mark almost a good quarter way down my chest. It just ripped right there. The thing was bluish looking nasty. Did not hurt at all though, but all the same I eased up and iced it, ect... I never minded stretch marks. Always thought they looked hardcore to an extent...

The older I get the lighter mine get. I can hardly even see them any more. I have a lot on my chest shoulder area and my middle back and lats. Most of mine developed when I was around 15-17 years old. It sucked every time I went and lifted I would have a new one it seemed. I was only about 190lbs then now I'm 215lbs and getting bigger faster than ever before and am not getting any. I think it may have something to do with diet, because back then mine sucked and I drank so thats the only thing that I can think of as to why I got them then and not now.

I have two stretch marks on just above the arm pit between my pecs and shoulders. (they tend to grow the fastest on cycle) They seem to have gotten a little better with time, but like the others said they are here to stay.

Just out of curiosity what is this procedure cost and what's a ball park figure on cost?
