Strength, bodybuilding and steroids.

Well I got a lot of shit from you guys for my previous post.I guess I shouldn't have posted those poundages. They were just what I thought would be a good criteria, that's all.I was trying to make a point that one should be STRONG, steroids or not.Arnold,Lou and Franco were strong and so is Lee Priest.I neither worship nor care about the pros but I do look at Franko and Lou was my inspiration. Those guys did juice but there were also strong motherfuckers without it.Franko could lift a fuckin' car for God's sakes! And who could ever argue with his development? That's my point. So if you juice and can't squat for shit, shame on you.Squats are an ultimate indicator of strength.

I dont have a problem with people who are weak and juice. I have the biggest problem with the ones who juice then stop working out. The amazes me. They can spend 400$ and look good for eight weeks then quit.

AGREED!!! i have no respect for those fuckers and i know alot of those types. very sad.

p.s. actually it is pretty funny to see someone juiced to the gills and still not be that strong. i know some people believe in just getting big and who cares about being strong but i believe in functional appearance. and not just appearance.

Some of the most respected members on the board started out by pissing everyone off; LOL. I agree with the idea you were trying to get across, but there are some people that just don't get really strong no matter how much work they put in. The people that piss me off are the one's that try to use gear to make up for a lack of work ethic.

I personally could care less how much I lift. I am more concerned with how I lift it (meaning very strict form) and how it affects my muscular developement.I have no idea what my max lifts are and I probably never will. If I continue to grow by using strict form and progressive poundage ( increasing the weight in small increments at each workout ) then thats what I will do. If I could continue to grow by only benching 225 or squating 315 for the rest of my days than I would. It is completely dependant upon your individual goals.......just my .02 cents.
