Strange injection

Today i was doing my shoulder injection and everything went fine and i aspirated but when i pulled out blood gushed out of my shoulder i mean it was at my fingertips before i could get a towel! What is the explanation? I did kind of inject faster than usual but am i in any danger?

You most likely wen through a vein

you went thru a blood vessel on the way in. As long as you aspirate, you will be fine.

If you had injected in a vein, your post would be alot different, if you could even do it!
