Stop using Vet grade HCG!

Please stop using Vet grade HCG. It can have some very serious side effects. I can understand using Vet grade gear but HCG??? No way.

Ask SCOTTY-2-HOTTY, turns out his kidney problems are a direct effect of a urinary tract infection he got from using Vet Grade HCG.

It was not a Mexican brand; it was a Canadian Vet product by Intervet.

I know a couple of other guys who have had problems. I thought it was originally just too much HCG but to come and think of it they were using vet grade HCG.

HCG is great...but please stick to Pregnyl and Profasi (Organon and Serono) They are cheap anyway...and they are not scheduled!!! No excuses!

I have some hCG from Intervet, Holland, not Canada though.

the package insert says that it is HUMAN Chorionic Gonadotropin; not bovine, equine, etc. FDA approved, etc.

Lol, there is no such thing as veterinary HCG...its human chorio gonadotropin, key word being human.

Pretty sure BA is referring to the production standards, not the actual protein, but there is bCG, eCG, etc. Vets use hCG for dogs and pigs, but can get access to the others too.

"Shortly after establishment of pregnancy in equids, high concentrations of the hormone equine chorionic gonadotropin (eCG) appear in the mare's serum. This hormone is also called pregnant mare's serum gonadotropin and is actually equine luteinizing hormone. The source of eCG is a placenta-associated structure called an endometrial cup, which is derived from the fetus, forms several weeks into gestation, and is immunologically destroyed 2 to 3 months later"

...

In dairy ewes, the use of eCG as a convenient hormone for the induction of ovulation is necessary for out-of-season breeding and artificial insemination (AI). In this report we show the presence of anti-eCG antibodies in plasma of treated ewes.

so I can import it from a pharm legaly?

Depends on how much of an asshole the custom agent who inspects your pack is.

I've had a package of 10 boxes(240 tabs) of Clomid go through customs as well as HGH from China. They were inspected and allowed to go through.

One time, I had a package containing 5 boxes of clomid seized, so it can vary greatly...but it is widely available in Canada, it's a very popular item at the gym.

HCG is HCG, no matter what! the H stands for HUMAN. and someone please explain to me how production standards for vet HCG might be different then those for vet gear??? you dont see posts on here saying "stop using vet gear"

I have 3 more 5000 IU amps of intervet HCG left. Obviously I'm going to use them up but after that I'm sticking with organon.

also, how could a subq or im shot cause a urinary tract infection?

the only valid criticism I could see for the intervet is that the solvent buffering stings a bit, but hcg is hcg, and canadian veterinary pharmaceutical standards are as high as human standards

I don't know. It's an observation on my part, I've seen people develop serious problems and they were all using that same HCG.

I don't have an explanation, maybe somehow it goes bad?

I've used the intervet stuff a ton of times, in fact, I'm pretty sure its responsible for my wifes pregnancy(either than or the mailman). Its painful but I do like the stuff

i dont really care much about the pain too be honest, it only lasts for a few seconds, its not like oil shots with too much BA that hurt for days

loeffler makes HGC and it is only a vet company. I would think that this would qualify it as "vet grade HGC". HGC is what it is made of, not the intended user.

also, lets be honest about mexican vet products, it doesent matter what the bottle says, or what it is intended for, if we want it, they will sell it.

Also, I think HGC can be used on swine and equine, but I am not 100%

Andy is 100% correct... it was Intervet HCG I used in the fall of 2002. One week later, I had a UTI. One month after that... I presented symptoms of Kidney failure (peripheral edema).

The math is simple.

I disclosed my use of AAS to every damn physician I saw over the past year. With the exception of my GP... every one of them made the same conclusion: It was the HCG that caused the UTI... in response, my immune system attacked my Kidneys and damaged them. They all said that NOT ONE of the steroids I used could have done this to me (BTW- I've never used Tren).

I'm a huge proponent of HCG... but it'll only be Pregnyl from now on.

I have to correct myself here before someone gets testy (get it? testy? i'm so funny.).

Loeffler is not just a vet company, they make human pharma products as well. But I stand by my original comment that you can have vet grade HCG. The H in HCG refers to what is in the product, not the intended user. AustinTX pretty much explained it.

Props to big andy for the good post. I will be using HCG for the first time in my next cycle. Better to be safe than sorry.
