Do Aliens believe in a God?
What if the world blew up or just died. Would there still be a god?
I was watching this movie yesterday with Luke Perry and that other "pretty boy". It was about how the world sort of died and only a few groups of people were still alive and formed colonies with their own leader.
This leader lined up some people and asked them if they beleived in god. The firt one said yes. So the leader said," well prey to god that I dont kill you." So the guy sstart crying and praying to god and yells God Jesus save me. The leader says, "who?" The guys says, "Jesus". Bamm! He gets shot. The leader then goes to the next guy.. same thing. Untill one guy starts praying to him. The leader saves his life. ANd makes the poor guy to always remember that.
His point was that the way religion was set opon people was through violence. Which made me think.... If I forced the world with violence to belive I was a God.. would they all worship me when I die. When in reality I just had a huge army and have no magic powers.
Just stoner thoughts....
I find there are a lot of cool "meaning of life" movies around that all seem to have one thing in common. World destruction.
