Do you guys think they test teachers for Steroids?

NO WAY. Schools do not test us for anything. however, every time we recertify we do have to have a BCI/FBI background check. If there is anything on your record you may not get re-certified
Why would they test teachers for steroids? Unless it's an athletic organization, police, or military there should t be an issue with AAS testing
The crazy thing is that military does not actually test for steroids unless the commander signs off on it and there is typically a reason for him to do it.
The reason I ask is because my friend actually got tested in April and they took a hair sample as well. He does it do gear but he uses marijuana. The place I will be employed only tests upon initially entering and there is not a recertification process. They do not have random test in the contract and probably never will. I know of somebody who is pretty crazy in that regard and he has always been in the clear. My only concern is that if they are willing to use a hair sample, which I am pretty confident it is very expensive, I am not sure if they will test for gear. I do know that they take a blood sample when they do the drug test as well as the urine sample.

I workout with a teacher who is juiced to the gills btw, no doubt he is on roids.. strongest dude in the gym. so I highly doubt they are tested or he would fail just by looking at him. he told me he has to be at school 5:30 everyday and doesn't leave till like 4 or 5ish.. and he heads straight to the gym.. not sure how he does it man, that is a brutal schedule. then going home to grade papers.. its gotta suck.
I totally agree it sucks. But without teachers, our society would be nothing. Teachers teaches kids almost everything from the age of 5 to 18. I totally respect teachers and their worth ethics and how much time they put in to help make sure students excel in school and in the real world.
Right on. I have to say that I am pretty blessed. I teach physical education, so I do not have to grade the papers other than in health class. I do however have to coach which takes a lot of time out of your day during the season you are coaching; especially football. Granted we get paid extra to coach but it's still consuming. Luckily, my prospective district pays better than 95% of districts in the Country so that is one benefit.
I know for sure there isn't random testing but my main concern is the initial.
