WHAT DOES EVERYBODY THINKS WILL BE THE DRUG OF CHOICE AT THE WINTER OLYMPICS? I SAW A SPECIAL ON ABC NEWS ABOUT PERFORMANCE ENHACING DRUGS AND THE OLYMPICS AND THEY SAID EPO IS THE DRUG OF CHOICE. AND THEY SAY THERE IS A NEW EPO THAT CAN'T BE DETECTED. WHAT IS EVERYBODY'S OPINION ON DRUGS AND THE OLYMPICS?

EPO can be detected, but it's not easily done.

EPO isn't a steroid though, it's a performance enhancing drug. It allows the blood to carry far more oxygen than it normally does.

Meaning you have more stamina.

Anabolic use is probably most prevalent in the bobsled and sprint skating events. I remember Charles Poliquin saying he trained Olympic athletes in both events.

Incorrect. They have come up with a test to detect the difference between endogenous and non endogenous HGH. Last, I heard it was not 100% and WADA and IOC was testing it out. I am not completely sure if they are using it for this olympics or not. If not I am sure it is a given that it is being widely used.

Yeah, that is great. The only reason this "performance enhancer" was banned was because they were having trouble catching people using juice and it was cost $1000's of dollars with no positive results. So they thow in an extra $1 a person and their capture rate goes up. No they can get more funding for testing because they got some TV exposure from catching that "Cheating" Snowboarder.
