Steroids and Sleep

So here is what I'm doing right now mainly because my lifting partner as to work. We hit the gym at 5:30am Workout till about 7:30am.

So here is the question I get to sleep at around midnight then I get up at 5:00am to head to the gym that's only 5 hours of sleep if I fall asleep fast and that normally doesn't happen. However when I get home I have been getting back in bed for another 2 or 3 hours of sleep. So is the 3 hours after the work good or bad?

Also what about nap's later in the day good or bad? Sometime it seems like the more sleep the better then I read other stuff that says don't get to much sleep.

Thanks

so you workout for 2 hours????

this isnt the 60's bro.
get with the program..
45-60 minutes super intense and out!

For the 2 of us it only takes about an hour and 15 min. The other 45 min. we do some line drills in the gym or some biking on the 3 mile outdoor trail also some good stretching that all takes us around 45 min. We do all this to get our intensity levels up and ready for such an early lift.

so let me get it straight...
you do cardio and stretch for 45 minutes BEFORE pumping??

tell me you'r joking bro. please tell me that!!!

I do it to get the blood pumping and can lift heavier after I do the stretching and the cardio then I can if I don't. The bike ride is a very light Cardio for what i normally do when I'm not on gear. I do have weight classes to worry about I don't want to shoot to far over my weight. Do you think I should stop all Cardio when on gear? I would love to talk with you more about this.

True thanks for the information also what do you think about the sleeping?

ok bro..
time to take notes so please take out your pad and pay attention:

you dont need to pump for more than 45 minutes if you train super intense.
some of today's pros, pump 30-40 minutes max!!!
but they do this twice a day.

expanding energy before a workout session is like jerking off before a hooker comes over.. wtf????

you not only will burn muscle tissure for energy, but your workouts will suffer.

you claim you lift heavier after cardio..
its all in your head amigo!
and while psyching yourself up is good, its not scientifically better for your body.

i think you have some major research to do my man.

take this with love.

Light cardio to warmup before lifting is not a bad idea but that takes no longer than 15 minutes.

Done no more Cardio. What about the Sleep? Is it ok to break it up as long as im getting 8 plus hours over 24hours?
