Steroids and intelligence

Hey guys! I think that I know everything about theeffects of steroids on our bodies, but nobody seems to be talkingabout their effects on our brains – do you know if steroids canimpact one's intelligence or other mental functions?

the meathead stereotype unfortunately is true in some cases. but it has more to do with a lot of morons who are just addicts who use all kinds of drugs and steroids too, or guys who were born jocks and are dumb as bricks.

the reality though is that there are some VERY smart guys who use steroids and workout. Arnold played dumb fucking characters in his movies, but in reality the guy was extremely intelligent and knew fitness and nutrition better than any of these PHD geeks could ever know

these days you have guys from all walks of life who use steroids.

now do steroids reduce intelligence? I don't think so

do steroids affect dopamine? yes some do, especially the more androgenic ones like tren. so there are some effects on our brains you should be aware of. plus it will make you more aggressive. this is why when you use tren you tend to want to cheat on your gf all the time.

I don't buy into it affects intelligence or empathy at all.

Your brain is a muscle and steroids have actually been show to increase brain function and memory.

There are a lot of studies done in older adults that found testosterone replacement therapy increased their IQ and memory capacity.

What's more, I have read multiple studies that stated that those with increase testosterone levels have significantly lower chances of suffering age related dementia diseases (such as Alzheimer or Parkinson). Other than that, there is no direct influence from steroids on your mental aptitude.

This is very true, and there are studies backing this up.

I do not believe steroids can negatively affect intelligence. There are some studies on tren that I would have to look up that showed some issues but I cannot recall off hand.
