steroid recpetors in muscles

is there anyway to increase the number of or improve your steroid receptors ...or is extended time off the sauce the only way?

as far as I know, only time off can stimulate beta receptor recovery.

There may be some methods out there that I am unaware of however. *shrug*
 
yea, thats what i figured....it just seems that some people have the receptors of gods..like theyll gain 10lbs off 250mgs of test in like one week....i just think mine are totally fucked at this point
 
There's actually no such thing as "receptor downregulation". They found out years ago that in the presence of exogenous and abundant androgens, the receptors actually upregulate.

I didn't hear it, I read studies that proved it. It was years ago, but I can't believe people still think that receptors downregulate. You stop gaining on a cycle because of one of two things: 1) The amount of receptors available has exceeded the amount of androgens required to activate them for additional muscle growth. And 2) You're not eating enough to compensate for the additional muscle you gained. Now your metabolism is higher, but you didn't increase your calories accordingly.

im not up to speed on the whole receptor business, thats why i was asking....im not doubting your intelligence on the subject....was really asking bc im on a heavey cycle right now that i expected to gain a little more weight on...and im taking in between 4 and 5 thousand cals a day
 
there is a substance called golal that cleans out the receptors. a lot of pros swear by it. 2sick uses it but i haven't seen him sign on in months

ive heard of bros finding it in mexican phamacies. i truly don't know anything about it. 2sick was a pretty seasoned vet, he took gh, slin, high doses of gear, his stats were impressive. he used to ask me for it all the time, ive researched it and haven't found much. he claimed it cleared out receptors as well as the kidneys and liver. i assume it is controlled. i really wish i could tell you more

lol, yes......ive gained 13 lbs in 7 weeks and put about 55lbs on my bench press.....i was just hoping to be up at least 15lbs, preferably 20......ive been using 750-1000mg test cyp as a base for this cycle , along with EQ at 600mgs, and Tren ace at 125mgs eod
 
oh well those are good gains bro. you can't be mad over a few pounds. i thought you were not gaining. 55lbs on the bench can't complain about that. remember no cycle will ever be like your first cycle, i don't know if receptors up or down regulate, i just know nothing was ever like my first cycle. i was researching golal i can't find a thing on it. i wish 2sick were still around

well thanks for the imput bro......i guess im just really never satisfied with how i look, lol....but i guess alot of us have that problem. i just really wanted to get that last few pounds before i dropped the other gear and ran Var by itself with a little clen and T3

AR have not been shown to upregulate or downregulate in humans. You can't keep gaining on the same dose because your body is only pushed so far by a particular dose beyond your genetic limit. If you want to push it farther you have to increase the dose.

Ive thought about this......a lot of people i know slow/stop gaining after awhile.....but ive noticed they dont increase their cals. They start a bulking diet, but never realize that after theyve gained more muscle mass, they need to up the cals again to stay in a growing state, not just maintainence of the new muscle? A good dose (450mg NPP a week with 100mg drol ED) should be plenty to keep the body in a highly anabolic enviornment. I know dudes who are swole as fuck with no more juice than that....they just ALWAYS eat big.

They go together. You have to eat to grow. Assuming you're doing that, and all else being equal, you will have to go up in doses in order to grow past the inevitable plateau.

Agree, with me, i think its that i slow the cals, im always worried about putting on too much fat (prior obesity case here), but this cycle, ill keep them high, but clean (mostly protein) along with like 2 grams EGCG.
Only the BIG boys need to go up to the 1G mark for any substance, 600-800 of test or deca is still a shitload, not to mention 50mg dbol with it!
