Sterilizing fina

When I'm all done making my fina what temp. should I heat it at to sterilize it? I put the vial in the oven at 270 for 45 min. this last time but I want to know if this is too hot/long and might destroy the fina. Anyone know?? Thanks.

Yes, that is to long.

The filtering process will take care of most of the things you do not want in there.

The baking process should be as follows.

250 Degrees F, preheat oven, put vial on cookie sheet, bake for 15 minutes. Remove vial, vent to release pressure and repeat process two more times, making a total of three.

Go feed your cattle.
