Sterilizing equipment

before using a conversion kit, do you guys "sterilize" your pill crushers and mixing beakers/bottles? I'm wonding if I should stick the equipment in the oven on say 500 degrees for 45 minutes or so to sterilize my mortar and pestal, beakers etc?

If you really need to....

Wash in HOT soap and water. Rince completely. Dab with alcohol and let dry. It'll be fine.
