If using unsealed vials, after I sterilize and transfer sample to vial, how do I assure it's stays sterilized while transfering and before sealing?

Do you have access to a lab with a flow hood? If so, turn on the UV light, and do all the work inside the flow hood with sterile gloves. I think my old roomate tried to duplcate this using a tanning bed, he then sprayed it down with Ethyl Alcohol and then turn on the fan on one side of the room and shut the door to replicate possitive pressure. I laughed my ass off when he told me about this but I guess you Gotta give him an "A" for thinking out of the box on that one.
