1) Stem cell research is necessary and vital.
2) As a pro-choice atheist, I personally have zero issues with embryonic stem cell research
3) IMO they should side-step the entire controversy by getting the most out of adult stem cells first and then resorting to embryonic stem cells later. So for now, lay off embryonic cells and stick to adult ones.
To me, it seems like the left loves to fixate on embryonic stem cell research simply so they can poke the religious nutjobs in the eye with a stick. That's not science, nor is it sound thinking in general.
I like you used to scoff at the idea of Adam
and to a lesser extent Eve
heh
using modern DNA mapping they have traced all human DNA to one individual
and that tribe in Africa still exists
amongest them you can see the genetic variation that went to separate continents
one individual
now I ask you
what came first
the chicken or the egg?
I'm not an enthusiastic atheist
And I'm certainly not an evangelical one
In the absence of proof though, I gotta break with science
I'm pulling for God, actually

Why are you "pulling" for a supernatural North Korea as your afterlife where a perceived benevolent dictator controls all your actions and thoughts? To quote the late Christopher Hitchens," At least you can escape North Korea by dying."
I'm pulling for a final death over being subjected to an eternal dictatorship....which is basically eternal slavery.
It's completely normal to feel a romantic allure toward a higher power. Theism developed as part of our natural evolution and we're clearly still within that evolutionary envelop. disconnecting people abruptly from religion is no different than holding their heads underwater for an hour to see if they evolve gills.
Pure accident I found this ... I gotta ask "why do I advertise such an offensive ____?" what? Could you give me a noun or something here?yo musclemom
let me be clear
regardless of your beliefs
why do you advertise such an offensive
+1 for pro-choice atheist outlook.
