Stem Cells and Morality

1) Stem cell research is necessary and vital.
2) As a pro-choice atheist, I personally have zero issues with embryonic stem cell research
3) IMO they should side-step the entire controversy by getting the most out of adult stem cells first and then resorting to embryonic stem cells later. So for now, lay off embryonic cells and stick to adult ones.
To me, it seems like the left loves to fixate on embryonic stem cell research simply so they can poke the religious nutjobs in the eye with a stick. That's not science, nor is it sound thinking in general.

I'm one of the few right wing extremists who supports all forms of stem cell research. It's stupid not to, when we have the technology, and it will save many lives. And I'm pro choice too, in most cases (with the exception being that I think people should plan better, and use abortion as a last resort if adoption is not feasible). If I had been unwanted, I would rather have been aborted than stuck in care of the state, and probably wound up in a welfare home on drugs, as so many unwanted kids do.

well since you mentioned it nostradomus
there occured two key genetic shifts in mankind
about 75% of the schedule received an intellectual shift
and 25% got an extreme physical shift
the intellectuals moved out of africa-well lets call it subsahara
but the physical shift made it's way to where
well logically where you need human labor
are very few got both the intelligence "shift" and physical shift
and they are in the NFL, NBA etc.

That's because you have issues with religion. You've been hurt by religion and can't figure-out how to hit it back.
It's completely normal to feel a romantic allure toward a higher power. Theism developed as part of our natural evolution and we're clearly still within that evolutionary envelop. Over time, it will probably boil out of our genes, but disconnecting people abruptly from religion is no different than holding their heads underwater for an hour to see if they evolve gills.

Frankly, at 47, with more painful health issues than I care to list, if there is any extra fluff ain't a lot I can do about it right now. My hubby still can't seem to keep his hands off me after 18 years so it can't be all bad

Adam and Eve don't need to be real...I wish that they were because Eve wasn't named until after "The Fall" Eve was the crown of creation equal yet above Adam. Yep. Above.
Before the fall Adam is both Adam and Eve. The man is called the man and the woman is called the woman, two but one Adam. After the fall he keeps the name Adam and she is named Eve. They don't need to be real literal people.. The garden does not have to be real, the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil, none of it literal to be true. The story is about Evil and The Will and the fallen state of humanity and human nature. The characteristics of The Serpent, who manipulated the woman. The myth of Cain and Abel is the same, the characteristics of Cain are a warning of evil. It's at your door and it desires you. You must rule over it.
