STD test question???

If there was intercourse on last friday....and I have a STD test tomorrow morning will it show up if there was something wrong with the girl???

When I went, they told me it depends on what they are testing for. It varies for different STD's. HIV for example, may not show up for months later.

You may want to go to help ease your mind, then you can go again a few months down the road. That's what I'd do.

Ask your general medical practitioner, but, I think the answer is no. Whatever infection, problem, virus - whatever it would be would need to to incubate or breed in your body. Actually, I think you would probably need to get tested in a few weeks or month and then again in a few months and up until about 6 months after your last risk exposure something could probably surface. my .02

Depends on what they are testing for...

Chances are...they will do a few standard tests. Blood and urine...and then they will stick a nice little (you wish) cotton swab up your penis to get a sample...

When i go and get a physical, i ask to take a "lifestyle" test and AIDS test. They draw the blood and an extra vial for HIV testing.

If they find anything, they will call to tell me. As for the swab, never go the swab done.

However, i was told by 2 of my sister in laws that are pharmacists that since i've been on doxycyline since sept last year, i won't catch an STD (chylmydia or other common ones, since i'm on it for so long). That doesn't mean i will start free balling, hellls no. Also they give a double take to people who get this script filled for a week or two. Since its usually to cure an STD of some sort.

I'm on it for my acne that was induced by sus last summer. No wonder i got some weird looks from my pharmacists!!!!!
