Staying ripped and not watching diet...anyone else does this?

Ok, I'm not serious about bodybuilding anymore....at least where supplements and diet is concerned. I don't eat every two hours...probably every 4 hours...sometimes even 5. I still train hard and heavy and do lots of cardio. Been very lean now for about a year....

I'd say I ate pretty much what I want, and as long as I keep my cardio up, I still stay ripped.

Anyone else experinced this?

well your body needs those extra calories because of all the energy you are using working out and doing cardio....its not surprising to me that you are lean. no stop working out and keep eating see how you look in a year

I would eat every 2-3 hours bro. It tricks your body into burning fat instead of muscle. You will stay just as lean and more likely get more rip. Smaller servings six times a day.

I have stopped working out for a month because of working about 80 hours per week. I eat McDonalds, cake, ice cream, whatever, whenever. I am so shocked that I haven't gotten much fatter and I have lost minimal strength. Only 5 more days until I can start working out again.

And about the cardio, yes I have done that before. Just a little bit of cardio, and lifting to build muscle will allow me to eat whatever I want.

I'd guess you're staying lean because of the cardio. And I'm begginning to think that theory of eating 6 times a day is just another gimmick. Some people get huge and ripped off of 3 or 4 meals a day. Timing your meals. It wouldn't surprise me if it's something they made up to sell magazines.

im sitting just above 8%bf as i eat my 5th large pizza of the week... if that answers your question.

oh and i dont do cardio

There's a freak at my gym that stays around 6 or 7% year round and eats Wendys double cheeseburgers and fries every day. He doesn't have a huge amount of size though. I guess the 2 hours a day of hoops plus weights a few times a week keeps him burning those calories.
