Staying on, Part 2

I know I've brought this up before, but every time I do I get more useful info. From what I've been able to gather, it is possible to stay on year round. Just so long as you don't do anything real harsh and stick to a good base dosage of test like 200-400mg/wk. Maybe even more. My major concern would be the sides. Granted, at such a low dosage of test, you probably wouldn't be in the running for any major sides at all. However, there is the liver. That would be my biggest concern. Everything else could be taken care of. But, what could one take to keep their liver in check? I've heard that it's no use taking milk thistle while on. That the gear just over powers it. Plus, what about your own natural production? I would be concerned about fucking that up forever, even with running HCG and clomid while on. I need some input on this one 'cause I'm seriously considering it. Ulter, needsize, I know you guys will back me up on this one.

for liver, i can't give you sourced studies, but I rember reading some positive ones & many posts regarding r-ALA for liver protection (and even, if i recall regeneration- someone jump in if i got that wrong).

all I can say is that when I'm doing dbol & i drink (i know i know), and feel sickish, 3 or 4 glucorrell makes it all better.

also, last dbol cycle up to 45mg daily (plus a few weekend drinking binges) for 8 weeks and ast/alt values 1 week after cessation were low end of normal using glucorrell sporatically tru-out.

I think the side would be the shutdown of your HTPA. Thats when natures law would kick in and be "Use it or lose it" Then you have trt or hrt for the rest of your life.

I havent been off completely in a year now. I tend to run 3 months heavy, then 4-6 weeks of var, then back on again. This time I decided to throw in a few shots of prop as well, 300mg a week of that, and its worked out fine. I wouldnt suggest that for most people, but I have competition goals and cant afford to keep losing size between cycles.
I do run hcg at 500iu 2x weekly all the way through my cycles, and 10 days of 500iu a day before running clomid with my var, so I am keeping the boys in mind, and thus far they are still in good shape

Another thing that I've heard from time to time is the saturation of receptor sites. A friend of mine suggested the idea that the hormone receptor sites become saturated after eight weeks and thus ones ability to take up the gear is considerably hindered. What are everybody's thoughts on this?

Next are the liver, kidneys, heart, etc. Those, of course, must remain in good working condition. I want the best way to keep them in proper working order while remaining on gear indefinately.

Next is natural test production and how it will be affected by staying on. Like tryn2 said, your body reaches a point where it says, "use it or lose it." Could taking clomid and HCG prevent this? If not, why not. If so, what kind of dosage? I've heard of guys being on for years and still getting their wives pregnant.

I know to a certain degree the answers to these questions could depend on the individual. Everybody's different, as the saying goes. Regardless of what I learn, I might just do it anyway, just for that reason. But, I would like as much information as I can get before taking such a plunge.

been on continously for about 2 1/2 years- i stick w/ low dose eq and test e- usually 200 mg/wk of each- once or twice a year i will go up to 1000 mg/wk apeice for a few weeks (3-4) and then cycle back down to usual dosage. cycling on and off simply throws my body for a loop- i got sick of it. when i started i was 6'3" 210 w/ 7-8% bf (varied slightly up and down over the years) i am now 6'3" just under 240 w/ 5-6 % bf (i just started my 1st cycle of gh 6 weeks ago), but over this time period, i usually gained about a pound a month (give or take) and my weight pretty much stays at the highest end of what i have gained, even when i go down to 200 mg/wk on test and eq

just curious bro have you been doing blood work and if so what were the results of it? :worried:

drl,

Just like 'small but working on it' said, have you had any blood work done lately? How are your liver, kidneys, heart, blood pressure, natural test production? What do you do to combat those type of serious sides?

i get it checked every six months- as for serious sides, i have had none. i had some asthmatic symtoms from using trenbolone, and orals make me feel like shit, so i simply stay away from them for the most part. i think if you listen to your body, you can tell when something is wrong- cycling makes me feel like shit and threw all my blood tests out of whack, but my last 4 blood tests have been almost completely normal (except for testosterone levels). i am not trying to justify what i am doing- just being honest about my usage. i play football and run track for a div. I-AA school, and i have never been piss-tested (they only check for rec drugs and test/epitest), and i use water-based test in-season. a lot of my teammates do the same. i drop out test e and eq about 2 mos. before season starts, and i am also trying gh for the first time. i am in really good cardiovascular shape and my nutrition is really good (i am not your average college student), so i think this helps. liver enzymes are normal, creatnine levels normal (just drink a lot of water), heart rate normal (67), blood pressure normal (119/78), natural test production low (300 nm, i think 330 is normal)- no acne, water retention, hair loss, etc.

Damn you must be one of the few lucky ones that dont get any bad sides. I am 30 and I dont think that I would feel comfortable running all yr round,I think my body would lay down on me. Your bp and heart rate are better than mine and I am not on anything now! haha! I am guessing you are about 21 or so. It sucks getting older no doubt. Peace
