Yeah, dropped the $50 to pick it up. Mildly disappointed. The single player was fun, for all of 30 minutes. I kinda figured it would be that way.
The multi-player, on the other hand, is pure chaos, a blast! The scenarios seem way too short, though.
If you liked BF1942, this is basically the same thing, but Star Wars.
Personally, I give it a 7 out of 10.

I reccommend Battlefield Vietnam over anything for 1st person shooters with vehicles. SW Battlefront sucked I thought, too unbalanced.

Obviously not a Star Wars fan then! I think it rocks! It's everything you could want a Star Wars game to be. I've been wanting something like this since ooooh, 1977!
The idea of playing as the Empire is bloody brilliant, getting revenge on those fricking Ewoks has to be a real high point! And who hasn't wanted to mow down Jar Jar Binks and his tribe with a cascade of laser fire!?
If Star Wars isn't your bag then I guess this game won't be. Worry ye not though for Killzone is out next month and that WILL be a top game!

Oh, I'm a Star Wars fan 
One of the few stubborn enough to put up with Sony's crap for over a year with the MMORPG "Star Wars Galaxies".
I was just hoping for "more" with SWB.
I'll have to check out BF Vietnam, though.

I actually bought SWB the other day and I'm totally loving it! It's got that can't stop playing it factor that so many games are lacking these days. What pisses me off is when games have unlockables in them that are nigh on impossible to unlock, this only adds to frustration, more so than it does hours of fun gameplay.
The 'just for the hell of it' aspect of SWB is the thing that will forever win the day with me. Even Spidey 2 couldn't manage this as it got repetitive. The AI in SWB means that you will never do the same thing twice. You will never say "Right, I'll wait for that guy to come round the corner next time." Next time he'll come from behind and take you out with a thermal detonator!
For once, a game has lived up to the hype!
Of course Killzone will blow it the fuck out of the water but it ain't here yet!

I'm actually bored with it now, the trouble with games of movies is that they are never as good as the movies. I was beginning to miss Han, and where the hell were the Bounty Hunters!?
Nahh, I wanted to love it and for a short while I did, but it just wasn't Star Wars without the all the heros. If they'd had Han and Co as playable characters, it would have made all the difference.
Never mind, at least I've got another game to trade in for Killzone now!

Its much better playing it online and with an organized team. Perhaps a clan. The the fun really comes out.

SWB is so over! Killzone comes out next Friday, and I'll let you know what I think of it in a post that night. It is online too and once it is out everywhere the other servers will be like ghost-towns. Blowing up tumbleweed with a thermal detonator ain't much fun!

I think he has gone through all of the campains already, so if he has beat it, it may be a little to easy.
