Some pills have the active ingredient in the center surrounded by fillers...is this the case with proscar does anyone know? I suppose I could just crush it and hope for the best otherwise.

Also, I am guessing this is bullshit but a couple people posted that once you stop taking proscar you lose all the hair you gained.

Now I know this is probably true NORMALLY but does this apply during a cycle? I assume the reason you normally lose it is because your natural DHT is not being blocked hence the shedding happens all over again but when you stop taking it after you're off cycle....

Yeah Frackal I've always wondered wether that was the case as well, that if you didn't have excessively high DHT levels naturally and so weren't losing your hair before your cycle you would only need to use it while your levels are artificially elevated on cycle! But I would say the answer you're going to get is that it depends on the individual just like every other aspect of the sport, but anyway - BUMP!!!

Here's how it was explained to me:
If you're using it for normal MPB, let's say for 10 years, and you stop, within a year of stopping your hairline will be wherever it NATURALLY would have been after the same 10 years without proscar. If you only take it during a cycle (and a little after), when you stop you should be at the same point you would have been after the same period of time naturally. So no, stopping proscar after a cycle won't cause hairloss equivalent to what the cycle would have taken, only that which you would have lost anyway (in many cases, no hair loss). Hope that helps. - SL
