South padre for Spring Break 2003 ?????

Has anyone been there im wondering if its real good cause i think im going......... can anyone compare it to Cancun ????

dont know how old u r....but when i was in college (b4 i was 21) we would all go down there for spring break bc we could just drive down to matamoros (sp?) at night and party across the border. kind of crazy down there (border town) so use the buddy system... but it is a lot fun! being from tx tho, everything down there is a blast!!! lol!

It's fair. It takes forever to get anywhere on the island by car. The beach scene is good. That's about all I remember. Last year I drank too much my second day and that kinda fucked up my experience.
