After last saturdays game a reporter asked sosa about steroid use and he replied that he would be the first one in line to get tested if the league passed a rule making testing mandatory. The reporter then said that he would drive sosa 30 minutes to the clinic immeadiately to test but Sammy declined and replied that he felt the reporter was out of line.

Just about every sport does have steroid use. In the NFL there are very few guys not on something. A guy I work with knows Cade Mcnown and Cade was telling him how all the linemen go to their doctors and obtain gear legally. I am so annoyed by how ignorant the media is and if someone did test positive like Sosa they would do everything in their power to ruin the guy. Hell I played for CCSN here in Vegas last year and a lot of the pitchers were on gear on our team and 3 of them got drafted at the end of the year. Steroid use is everywhere and I am fine with it because taking steroids alone isn't going to do the trick, you still have to bust your ass in order to benefit from them. Even if guys like Sosa and Bonds tested negative for roids I will guarantee you that they are still taking growth since that is undetectable.

this is the one thing those punks on ESPN and sports illustrated do not understand. steroids allow you to work harder, they do not make you into a better athlete automatically. anyone who has used knows this.

my theory on sports journalists is that they are all frustrated wanna-be jocks who didn't make varsity, so they joined the school paper (ever noticed that alot of these guys are really short). deep down they are bitter they did not succeed in athletics, and the drug issue gives them an opportunity to take out the extreme jealousy they feel towards pro athletes. they can insinuate that all the pro athlete's accomplishments are because of drugs, and say smuggly to themselves that if they juiced they would be on the other side of the camera.

But i think he's doing the right thing by denying it and encouraging people to be clean. who gives a shit if he's a lying motherfucker. just think about it, what if he were to come out and say what he uses and how he does it. these lil 15-19 year old teens are gonna start shooting up their ass with all kinds of shit the very SECOND they hear that shit. would any of us want our kids using roids in their teens just because some baseball player said he does it? HELL NO. it doesnt matter if all thes baseball players use it or not, i think they should keep denying it until they get busted of course. and plus, if the league isnt testing for it, fuck it why not??
