Soreness from injection

leatherface

New member
So 3 weeks into my first cycle. I inject 1cc on mondays and thursdays, and the first week it went great..no soreness or anything. Now the next week I hit my right glute again, and after waking up the next morning it hurt like all hell. I couldn't sit, couldn't walk..nothing. After talking to a nurse about it(she is also a relative), I find out i might have came into contact with my sciatic nerve, and she advised me to do this more towards my hip (as I was too far off in that quadrant). So yesterday, I inject into my left glute, and I definitely went towards my hip far enough..and today...i can't move again.
Last week I injected into my trap to avoid anymore pain, and my shoulder hurt like hell, but only for that day and then it subsided..where as this glute pain last for days.
Also, after injecting the other day, I played a long hardcore football game, and was thinking maybe getting beat to hell and back could have something to do with making the injection site extremely sore?

What do you guys think about this? Perhaps I'll try out a delt shot monday...

What are you injecting?
How often are you using the same injection site?
What size pin are you using?

I was thinking this, and are you sure you are getting the right places and being careful when you inject?

LOL bro before you hurt yourself anymore..
check this out...

www.spotinjections.com

this site is where I learned how to inject :) I revisit it often lol
I inject exactly where and how they are telling me to. Though, my last inject was the very corner of the quadrant they show for the glute.

It must be technique or the brand of gear (high BA content). I've never gotten pain from Test E.

Rotate your injection sites. I only hit the same spot once every 2 weeks. Keep your hand steady during the injection. Excessive movement will cause major pain for days after the injection. Be sure to massage the site following injection. Applying heat will also help - a hot compress or a bath.

inject slow and steady

My hand my move a bit i suppose, but I definitely inject slow and steady.
What i thought was weird was that the first 2 injections went great, no pain at all. And now, with all the pain, there is still no mark or redness or anything.
I think I will start rotating right glute/left glute..then right delt/left delt from now on. Hopefully that clears things up. I really believe I am injecting properly, and unless I am somehow hitting a nerve, have no idea whats going on!

Thanks for the help so far guys!

I doubt its the brand, as my first few injections went great. Perhaps the technique, but again, i'm not sure what I am doing differently now?

I will start to rotate my injection sites more though, and return every 2 weeks as you say.
As for the excessive movement causing pain, i did not know this. That could possibly be it, as I do move the needle a bit when injection, and my hand as well. I didn't see any harm in that before!

Thanks bro.

when i inject quick and DONT focus i tend to have some pains, but thats when i poke in a hurry and on the go...

just focus, it sounds stupid but will save you some pains

Ok, I will try this out next week, (as well as this monday but I will do my delts this coming week).

I hope this helps!! I seriously can't move.

Thanks alot guys

Sounds like this is the problem, just bake the test at 220 for 30 minutes with a 18 g needle in the vial, most likely solve the problem.

did i just read that your injecting into your trap? You don't sound very experienced, why even go there.

One time yes I tried it. Not completely sure why I chose there instead of my delt or quad, I was just looking through that siteinjection site and it seemed simple.
Is there a reason I should avoid it in the future? Not that I plan on hitting that area again anyhow but, just curious. I know its not a common site.

Ah, and ok, what can i do to help the pain? I was thinking some heat would help, and maybe massaging the muscle(though it hurts extremely bad to the touch, I could try). Any ideas?

use a heating pad after injection for a few moments that may help

good luck with your cycle and feel better

Thanks alot, and I will. Is there anything I can do NOW though, for the current pain? :)

Right quad, left glute, left quad, right glute.Thats the standard for rotating your injections.

Ya I will do quads in the future but I want to try to get away from that area next week. There should be no problem injecting the delts anyhow right? In the future I will have to use this rotation though :) thanks.

I hate quads, think I would try the trap again first, where the heck to you inject in your trap

\

It is like the lat, I tried it and ended up injecting into my triceps, that was no bargin either.

I would do quads every time if I could.

Hm, so it is still sore as hell, feeling a tad better though. Very tender and I think it maybe hardening a bit? It feels tight, though I don't feel any lumps and it is not warm to the touch so I don't think its an abscess. Hopefully it subsides in the next couple days as I doubt I can lift much lower body like this! If it is still here in a week any not getting any better I guess it might be time to see the doc :(.
