I have to say I like the white stripes better, but the hives are good too.
they remind me of a cross between the white stripes, the strokes, and that band that has a lead singer that loves coke and his whole back is a tattoo of a playing card... don't recall the band name.

they only have like one song that I know, but I like the sound.
I had never heard of the white stripes and then I heard them on the radio the other day and really liked them.
sort of a mix between brit pop rolling stones, the blues and slide growl of led zeppelin, the echo of surf, and the intensity of punk.
good stuff.
I just needed a new set of mp3s and finally have some new stuff I haven't heard before.
