This was a developing article on the Drudge Report. I see these all the time. Why do families think that suing others and getting money justifies the deaths of the 3000 deceased individuals killed in the attack?

In my opinion, this is nothing but greed, and horrible judgment. Please, if I'm really, really wrong, someone clarify this. All comments welcome.

As for suing Iraq, those people should start with the CIA and FBI since they should sue who is most responsible first.

What about the families that lost loved ones in the Oklahoma City bombings? Who can they sue?

The families (WTC) are already receiving or going to receive large cash settlements from the outpouring of donations from Americans and Corporate America. Why sue anybody over this? Terrorism will happen regardless of how many precautions are taken.

I don't recall reading anything about the Oklahoma families receving anything but I could be wrong.

Both were terrible attacks with a great loss of life.

Welcome to America, the only place where a fat man can sue McDonald's for his gluttonous habits, and black people can sue corporate America for slavery...I think its pretty sad that any family affected by this tragedy thinks suing would heal any emotional damage or prove any point...its a waste of time and money, and the only people winning anything here are the lawyers.

Yes, that is why. You have figured it out. It is because the CIA doesn't have enough of a budget. Also, I hope you know that the FBI is only as large as it is b/c of the war on drugs (which started as the war on the poor). Who do you think told everyone that marijuana makes you insane and murderous in the 1950s-1960s. That's right...the FBI! So if you have ever used illicit substances and/or steroids, you should not be one to support a fatter budget for the FBI.
