Something about Sources EVERYONE Should Know

No matter how many source checks you do, no matter how many mods/vets say he's legit, no matter how many times in the past you bought from that source, YOU CAN STILL GET SCAMMED and there's nothing anyone could have done to prevent it. Of course all that stuff at the top lessens your chances of getting scammed, but like I just said, CHANCES. Just take real life for instance, say you are going to buy a new car from Toyota. You ask a bunch of your friends about the local Toyota dealer and they all say they love it. You check with the better business bureau and they have an excellent rating. So you go and buy a new MR2 Spyder. You even get a real good deal on it. Then a month later your engine blows!!! You have it towed to the Toyota service station and they say that it's not covered under warranty cuz it's the driver's fault. Now you never even so much as sped in the car so you know it wasn't anything you did. But they still say no. So you call a lawyer, speak to the BBB and still, they refuse to fix it and they even want you to pay their service fee for looking at it!!! Now, you're so mad that you start yelling at all your friends who recommended the place. You start screaming at the BBB on the phone. Then you come to the realization that, the only person to blame is the Toyota dealer.

Well, the morale to this story is: at anytime you can get scammed and the source is the only person you can blame, AND don't ever send out more money than you can afford to lose. That's just a lesson everyone should have learned a long time ago from REGULAR LEGAL life, not just from the gear game.

I bring up this point cuz it seems that more than one good source has started scamming lately, the only difference is, the new ones learned from JR and just make sure to get the word out that they got busted, but the only mistakes they make are that they get greedy and pick up cash from WU after they supposedly got busted.

Actually, that is one of the funny things. Sources, at least domestic ones, that have been around for a long time are the ones you should be watching out for. Every domestic will eventually quit and a good 90% of them will want to make one last big score. In JR's case, he had been a legit source with literally over 1000 customers for over 2yrs and look what happened with him. I actually believe that those domestics that have only been around for about 3 months or so are the safest. They are still at the beginning of their career but yet been around long enough to prove they are legit. Once they've been around for over a year and made lots of money they start thinking that it's time to hang it up and then...................

Bullshit! We all know all the MODs and all the sources(international and domestic) meet at the bowling alley every second Tuesday of the month and plan who you're going to scam.

LOL :FRlol:

i knew it!

I know one domestic source who is now defunct who was making 6 figures per year. There is some serious money to be made, but the risk is even more serious.
