Someone said 150EW Test/ Always

Goldprospector

I can't find this in a search but some bro on here said they use 150 test all of the time...Who was it? do you do any other cycles? how often do you use HCG?

That would likely be someone on HRT therapy, which would be for life. 100mg/week is more of a standard dose.

DT, I was thinking it was in an HRT post, but I still couldn't find it. I was thinking it was BA69 but i might be wrong. Anyway, I think whoever said it, was self prescribing it, so I wanted to hear some more about the effects.

Yup, its called HRT. I can tell you the effects its had on me. I'm 37 and went on HRT this year. It allows me to remain big and lean at the same time. Somewhere in my mid 30s especially after my vasectomy this was no longer possible. HRT changed that. Now I'm mid 250s with abs. I never maintained that weight with abs before. In my 20s I would always slip down into 240s to get abs. Now, they're not shredded abs, but, they are there. However, to maintain this condition I MUST be right on with the diet. High protein, moderate fat and low carbs. Plus cardio 4x per week. And hard training of course. My current belief is that HRT will extend your abiity to look good and train hard much later in life. Based on ironmasters comments, I suspect then to continue to have a physique like your 20s into your 50s you then may have to go to GH and maybe slin, but, thats another topic.

Also, I am making slow but steady gains post cycle. Just as much as I made on cycle. My next cycle I plan to go with a lower dosage than before. This HRT experience has furthered my understanding that its not drugs that do it, but, consistency in training & nutrition over the long haul. This game is definitely a marathon, not a sprint.

Stillgoing....so with HRT you always run 100mg of test year around? And just up it when you cycle? So what's your post cycle look like in this case? Thanks

Yeah, but doing it right involves getting bloodwork done under a docs supervision and getting your levels just right. The proper dose varies, it might be 100mg or it might be 200mg or anywhere in between. If your natural test levels are ok and your not at least in your late 30s you shouldn't even be thinking about it.

Stillgoing, do you have any prostate concerns being on test year round?

Well, I just started the program 6 months or so ago, and, I'm only 37, so no. Again, "all" I'm doing is taking my natural test from 400 to 800 or so. I get regular bloodwork and make sure everything is good, and, I get an annual PSA and will continue to do so. Further, I've done a fair amount of research (although this area is obviously not trodden ground and much more research needs to be done) and to date there is NO correlation between high normal test levels and prostate cancer. In fact, there is MORE of a correlation between low test levels and prostate cancer. Now, once you have prostate cancer, then higher test levels will allow it to grow faster. So, clearly if your test levels are higher you need to monitor it closely, particularily as you get older.

But from a research perspective, the old test causes prostate cancer thing is a myth, as far as I can tell.
