Sofa George....? About Polysorbate 80

I got this tree-sap like stuff the other day. I guess the plan is to use it one day and Nizoral the next right?

The way I understand it, you rub this stuff into the bald spot scalp area (mine is about 2 inches in diameter), but what do you do to get it into the scalp everywhere else, or is it OK to just mix it into your hair?

Finally, I've been washing it out and using Head & Shoulders right behind it because it really doesn't seem like it is a stand-alone shampoo......is this right?

Thanks

i use head and shoulders to wash my hair first, then the polysorbate and i let the polysorbare sit in for about 10 minutes, then rinse. i switch off between nizoral and the polysorbate mix each day.

I get my hair wet first... rub it in my hands... then massage it in. I've read it is supposed to work better on a "dry" scalp... so I used to use the spigot (spout?) at the top of the bottle to draw lines on my scalp through my hair.

I don't use straight Polysorbate. I use Inner Shampoo which is mostly polysorbate... don't really know how much they differ other than Inner Shampoo costs $6 and Polysorbate sold for $5.

If you are putting it on dry you have to use the dropper spout on top of the bottle. It isn't hard... you are also supposed to leave it on for 3 minutes + for best results.

I never heard of the stuff....what exactely does it suppose to do...prevent hairloss of is it for regrowth?

Mr Pink

It takes DHT away from the follicle of the hair... which is what causes a large percentage of male pattern baldness.

It's a slow action and life long treatment... not something you "try."

Polysorbate verses Topical Spironlactone???? anyone?

I use the Spiro 5% and it works better, but if you use the together you have a great combo. The best in my opinion. :)

Kronk: I'm with ya bro......that would be a great combo. I am prone to MPB andhave used the 5% topical as well for about a year and have not lost a single strand; however....I have NOT regrown any either! MAYBE that's where years of Polysorbate comes in ;)

I know spiro does something with your hormones if taken orally, but does it effect the hormones in the body if used topicly?

Maybe. I am not prone to BPB (that I know of) and I have actually regrown some hair on the spiro 5%. Polysorbate is awesome, but you got to keep taking it. :)
