ALA freaks: sodium lipoate
For the guys who buy the ALA powder, and dont like to capsulate the stuff, here is a tip:
React the ALA with NaHCO3 (baking soda, pharmaceutical grade) in the ratio 206 : 84 parts in water (for example 500 parts). After mixing a lot of foam will be created, but after a few hours you have a nice viscous yellow clear liquid, which you can dose with a syringe. The fluid does not burn in your throat (pH neutral). Ok, you ingest some sodium, but the quantity is not much (roughly 300 mg if you use 3 grams of lipoate).
