So when you guys say you throw your oatmeal in a blender....do you just throw the raw oatmeal in there without cooking it first? how much water do you guys add? do you add that to your protein shake, or drink the oatmeal alone?

Dry?? no water? you must be adding that to your protein shake then? does not cooking the oatmeal affect the g.i. at all (i.e. is the g.i. lower than cooked oatmeal?)

Damn, that gives me an idea!!! Maybe I'll throw my oatmeal, protein powder and water in the blender for a smooth, chocolate cereal!

Cooking the oatmeal doesn't change anything. It's still good carbs and fiber whether it's cooked or not.
 
I dont use a blender... I just put the oatmeal in my shaker with the protein and some udos and go to town lol
