What am I doing right now? I'm hiding in my office. I have a 16 year old German foriegn exchange student staying with me. She has two other girls (both German foriegn exchange students) who are her good friends. For whatever reason, my house is the hip place to hang out so every weekend I have all three of them for a weekend long slumber party. They laugh... giggle... eat pizza... and talk endlessly about everything. Last night a really sweet kid who works at the local video store rented a stretch limo and took all three of them to the prom. His mom hired a videographer to film the German girls prom night. Now... all three girls are in my living room howling as they watch the tape. I am wisely hiding and writing to you guys.

It doesn't matter whether or not she is hanging out with American kids... or just experiencing America with other German kids... so I talked to the exchange student coordinator and invited the other two girls over for the weekend. (I told the coordinator I was taking my girl to see the Venice Boardwalk and Downtown Hollywood... and would the other two girls like to go.) Then I let the girls host families know the girls could stay the night if they wanted to have pizza and watch a movie together after going to the beach. They've been pretty much inseparable ever since... and I only had to make plans for them the first weekend (and then conveniently disappear so they didn't have a "dad" hanging around with them.) Now they make plans and do things every weekend and are having a blast.

BTW AS FOR WHAT I AM DOING RIGHT NOW I AM WAITING PATIENTLY ANOTHER 50 MIN UNTIL THE SIMPSONS IS ON. I HAVE VISITED THE ALT.TV.SIMPSONS GROUP ON THE USENET AND EVERYONE IS SAYING IT IS A GREAT EPISODE, THE BEST THIS SEASON.
IT IS THE ONLY TV I WATCH, I DO LOOK FOR'ARD TO IT

Attack Of The Clones is on the 'net now, but i'm waiting to see it in the theatre.Anyway, right now I'm trying to make up for not eating since brunch (fuck it's gonna be hard to cram down another 3000 cals before bed). I'm also making up a budget for next term, and thinking about calling some friends I havn't talked to in a while.
