Was good and clever, but I found it anti-climatic really and can't see what all the fuss is about, having said that i would for sure read it if you haven't read it and can't wait for the film.

I have placed a curse on this thread and if it gets moved the mover will have an itchy asshole for the rest of their life.

all in one day? havn't read it... and dont plan on it.. ill just watch the movie

I preferred Angels & Demons as well.

Of the other two, I liked Deception Point the best, by far. Both are worth your time.

There's another one out (not Dan Brown) that looks good, something like "The power of four" or something. They compared it to Dan Brown's style of writing.

For the non-fiction version, try "Holy Blood Holy Grail" by Baigent, Lincoln, and Lee.

looking forward to the movie...
i haven't read the book yet - i started reading 'angels and demons' but didn't get a chance to finish reading it. i'll have to read them sometime this summer.

its a decent book.

I liked the fact that it really took a look at the catholic church from a different point of view.

Hopefully the movie is done well. It should be interesting.

Angels and Demons is what hooked me on his writing. I really don't care if any of it's true or not. It's for entertainment, not a history book. All those in the internet or cable TV shows trying to "debunk the de vinci code" are wasting their time. Who cares? It's like trying to debunk the Talisman by Steven King. It's a story, little more than entertainment. Sorry for the vent. :rose:
