Getting tested for everything under the sun, from pituatary to total testosterone and some tests I never heard of. Hopefully doc can find out why I am always tired. I can get 8 hours of sleep, wake up shower, etc. And 30 mniutes later I could go back to sleep for another 8 hours no problem. The only reason I can stay awake is I force myself too.

He is willing to give me hormone replacement therapy if needed. But on the other hand I hope my testosterone isn't low nor my gh (although I ain't counting on it)

Are you depressed, taking anything that can screw with your hormones? My ex-wife found out her birth control made her suffer all the symptoms of clinical depression. Once they finally changed the prescription she was a new person.

Nope, not depressed at all. Only thing i can think of is I snore and have to wear the breathing strips at night. And I also have to take benedryl to breath as well at night. Could be a side effect of the benedryl i suppose

yeah, unfortunately it is the only thng that actually works. i have tried everything. I only have trouble when I go horizontal. When I am up I am fine.

I'd go to an ear/nose/throat doc and get something else....I take benadryl only as a last resort for allergies

had sleep study done, brain wave monitoring, been to the ENT, last resort is getting my nasal passages opened up and tubes in my ears

I have problems at night too. Sometimes I think I might die in my sleep. It's weird. What the fuck ever though.

do you ever wake up out of know where and it feels like you have not breathed in 3 minutes and gasp for air?

I think it happens a lot because I catch myself waking up and gasping for air. What's weird is, I don't feel out of breath. Also, sometimes I can tell that I'm breathing at a rapid rate in my sleep. Am I going to die?? Probably would be a blessing... Thanks for the membership!! That was very kind. :)

On occasion I have. But mostly if I am taking medication like a pain pill. But yeah, I have actually laid there and thought to myself it might be a good idea to breath

being tested along with a ton of other stuff should find out in the week.

Did they suspect polyps in nasal cavity? Ever use nose spray and get addicted to it?

Good pal of mine got addicted to that nose spary crap and had to have the nasal cavity operated on.

By 'strips', do you mean CPAP machine? One of my friends has something that sounds very similiar to you and the CPAP machine (little deal that basically 'force feeds' you a bit of air all night) made a night-and-day difference. My apologies if that is what you are already using!

I am the same way

In fact, I am sleep walking as I type this
