i got the 3 movies at a time, unlimited per month deal.
anyone else use them? you like?

Why don't people do Blockbuster? Since they give you 2 in store rentals on top of the monthly rentals plus they started doing it where you can bring movies into the store instead of shipping them back. They start sending out your next movie(s) at that time, thus saving time.

If you do it correctly you can get TWICE the amount of movies via Blockbuster than you can Netflix.

I guess advertising works because Netflix sure isn't the best choice.

I use Blockbuster and its like $14.00 a month and you can return the old ones right to the local store, saving time.

How many movies is that for at a time and is Netflicks the same amount for that? A!

Do the one month free trial through netflix then do blockbuster and see which you prefer. You get 2 months worth of free rentals. tee hee hee

Yeah I have been doing netflix for about three years now
Its the bomb....never have to go to the dam movie store and I ALWAYS get the movies i want to see, and never have to deal with some stupid cleark at the movie store

anydvd + clonedvd + a decent dvd-burner + a spindle of DVD-R's

you can backup all of the copies of your home movie collection.

I use netflix too...

I hate ballbuster... they have fucked me time and again on late fees. I used to go to hollywood, but they closed near me...

So now netflix - And it is such a pleasure to never have to go to a store EVER. Why would I want to drop off at a store when I can never go to one again?

Whats wrong with dvd+r? They don't need to be finalized.

i find more and more compatibility issues with +R than -R. i have NEVER had a -R dvd not work on any dvd player (regardless of age), game system, computer, etc.

however, i have had serious issues with +R not working on both older and newer dvd players and xbox consoles.

for backing up your home movie collection, i would recommend you use -R's, because even though they may work on your house player, they may not work if you bring it over a friend's house or if you have to buy a brand new dvd player.

the best brand and make i have found for backing up my collection of dvd's, since my girlfriend treats them as coasters, is Verbatim DVD-R.

that brand got the best reviews from people online, and i have scratched the hell out of them, left them in my car in both extreme heat and extreme cold, and they always play just fine.

I have done pretty well with Verbatim CD-Rs. Same with TDK DVD-Rs...which you despise. Must have got a bad batch.

I actually just got a free trial for 2 weeks for them and signed up yesterday. Said I should have movies by today...but they lied. How long does it take to get them in? I didn't think it would be possible to get them in the very next day.

verbatim is golden for video. for data discs, i tend to go with memorex.

So somebody else had problems with TDK too? I bought a spindel of 50 and I would say that over half would delevop spots, blemishes or whatever you want to call it and the dvd would stop playing at that point.

TDK's are trash

omfg... I agree with you! For data verbatim seems to fail on me non stop... I thought it was just me.

tdk's suck cock, value brands from comp-usa, office depot, etc suck cock, sony dvd's suck cock (and they cost you an arm and a leg), etc.

verbatim for video, memorex for data.

So whats the verdict?!? Which to get - Seems like the idea of dropping off the DVD's at the store and having the next ones sent right away is cool -

same with me, but i signed up friday i think. they said they were going out yesterday and I just got my first three (an inconvenient truth, you me and dupree, and an american haunting) today.
you'll get yours tomorrow.

i use netflix, and i am quite happy with them. they are never out of anything...atleast never any of the shit i wanted to see.

I think depends on A. if you live near a distribution center of one B. If you are ever by one of the brick & motar blockbusters.

Is there anyway to search these distribution centers? I am being told at work that netflix has genres or indie movies that blockbuster wont carry

I don't know how to find out where they are.

For me the shipping time was 3 or 4 days one way for Netflix. That was unacceptable.

old list...but it's something
